A rain shower overnight but cloudy and dry currently. Some brightness around and hoping for more sunny patches. Light morning breeze rustling very tops of branches. Cloudier conditions will bring rain later this afternoon. Mild but temperatures will fall over next few days. I agree with Jenny - disturbed night.

Slept badly last night-I was by turn too hot/too cold. The temp at 03-30 was 10 degrees! If this continues I’ll have to remove my electric blanket!!

Good Morning from Honiton. It will be a damp and overcast start to the day with a 30% chance of scattered patches of light rain. However, as the morning progresses, we can expect to see brighter conditions with outbreaks of sunshine breaking through those clouds, but be prepared as In the afternoon, a few isolated showers may develop again. As the evening draws in we may see some more persistent rainfall but the temperature will remain mild throughout the day, with winds easing. Top temperature today will be somewheres around 15°C. Have a good day folks. 🙋♂️

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
