It was -7C this morning & got to a high of 1C this afternoon & apart from a few clouds late afternoon it was more or less wall to wall sunshine all day.

SW Bowland. Picture on Wednesday Feb 1st.. Snowdrops happy where there's some shelter and a south facing bank to sit on. These caught a beam of sunlight.
Howver those out in exposed open ground are still keeping under the soil.

The "thaw" is nearly complete under hazy brightness and temps of 2c. A windchill of -2c in the breeze though.

Around 4 hours of very fine snow but this is the only really white bit. Wet elsewhere. Currently at it's warmest of 0.9c. The wind is stirring as well now.

I can't compete with the other snow pictures in here but a very slight dusting on certain surfaces this morning. Light hail/snow grains since 9'ish. Temps 0.5c when this was taken around 1030.
