Luckily the worst of the rainfall missed this area in the last 24 hours but there is more heavy rain approaching from S Ireland, its present track a bit uncertain but looks as if it may just pass to the south of us.
Take care all MC's who may be having flooding problems at this time.
Thankfully, ELLIE, we didn't get the volume of rain that was predicted for the overnight period. At midnight it was raining heavily but seemed to ease later and stopped altogether around 5am.

Has rained non-stop since midnight, mostly light to moderate but with some heavier bursts, also quite windy at times. Conditions here not as bad as with ELLIE who would be more exposed to the elements being near the north coast of NI. Nevertheless, still very unpleasant weather for all of us here in Ulster.
