The Metcheck White Christmas forecast is based on the CFS long range model and is updated every day at 10pm.
The science behind it is simply if temperatures and precipitation is conducive to snow then your risk increases. It's not intended to be used as a major forecast tool, however like most things at Metcheck we hope you enjoy it at playtime.
