14:00, 14.3C Had couple showers and will probably get some more but got off pretty lightly (nothing measurable so <0.3mm so far) as last band passed mostly to the North of here. Looks like we'll cop some more from the next band but probably not the sustained rain MC and BBC have us down for from 4pm-7pm. Currently got some qute ominous cloud to East but much clearer to West which is complete reversal of 40mins ago π The temp is a bit disappointing a given the sunny periods between clouds/showers and taking it's time to recover after thjem but looks to be a theme for the next week. Tomorrow: Metcheck - sunny/fair, 11C || MetOff - sunny start turning cloudy by lunch, 12C || BBC - sunny/partially cloudy turning cloudy by lunch, 11C || Goog - partly cloudy, 12C

Cloudy and a few spits of rain occasionally. Hoping for those brighter patches on horizon to come my way. Not so cold (balmy!) and not so windy either. I have problems with my phone so reports may be even fewer till corrected.

Good morning all π!! A bright and windy morning with a few showers earlier. Very heavy rain late yesterday afternoon and into the evening and once more the poor bowlers got drowned. I'm feeling a bit low at the moment as I've got to go back to the hospital for some investigations as I've got a few lumpy bits in my boob. The GP said it felt like glandular tissue but as I had breast cancer in 2007 it's best to be safe. Fingers crossed π€ π€. Have a great day folks π π π€

“Iβll also keep my fingers crossed for you, breast lumps cause more worry than the actual size of them. After having been through it last year I can reassure you that the staff are amazingly kind and caring and there have been so many advances since 2007. I was very impressed by how much the treatment had moved forward since my nursing days. Itβs just a phaff having to visit clinics and be questioned, prodded and poked when there are so many other better ways of using oneβs time.”

“Hi SHOSHANA. Hope the investigations prove all is ok. As far as the weather is concerned I think we are all pretty depressed at the moment. Very envious of Little Legs mum jetting to south of Portugal this afternoon for a long weekend.”

“I agree with everyone's well said comments. It's the waiting also that saps strength. Hopping all is benign and innocent x”

“Thank you all. It makes a huge difference being able to share my worries. Unfortunately it seems to go right over Mr S's head. Probably his way of coping. ”

“Ah,SHOSHANA,I hope all goes well.Iβve had lumpy bumpy bits which turned out to be fluid filled cysts, but I know how scared you feel whilst waiting. . As WENDY says lots of changes in treatment etc over the past 17 years. Fingers crossed for you.”

Whoah! How clever is this? The Metcheck Thunderstorm Tracker Satellite allows you to see the developing storms across Western Europe and tells you whether they are growing or decaying. Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
