Good afternoon folks... It was a fine and sunny morning but it started to cloud up during lunchtime. It's total cloud cover now and drizzle/rain is on the way.
Off for a shower and get ready for my birthday bash tonight - might not make an early report tomorrow.!!!🎈🎈🍰🍻

15:00, 12.6C Been mostly cloudy in morn fully cloudy now, looks like we're going to get predicted rain soonish (bit earlier than some fcsts) but doesn't look to be that much at mom unlike the forecasts whcih all have rain until late eve and some heavy apart from Beeb. O/n low 6.2 to compare to STU's 3.1. Tomorrow: Metcheck - cloudy all day rain in eve and o/n, 13C || MetOff - cloudy, 13C || BBC - light cloud, 12C || Goog - cloudy, 13C

“15:45, 11.8C And here it is: bit of light drizzle to start. Still can't see much heavy apart from a more concentrated band out in the Irish Sea whcih may or may not catch us but that doesn't look like it'll get here for 3-4hrs at least.”

As with SARAH, there are some very threatening clouds lurking but so far they have not delivered anything. There were still some sunny breaks as I was waiting for the bus threequarters of an hour ago. Still flipping cold here.

The sun may be shining but it is a bitingly cold wind. Seemingly a feel like of 5 degrees- feels colder than that to me. So,we’ve all been wishing for sunshine and assuming that that would mean it was warm! How wrong can you be!

Drizzle has started now. It's been black as night over bill's mothers so I quickly cracked on and mowed front lawn. But no rain. Lucky. Drizzling now but I'm inside. Hope your ewe has eened Heather. Or ... lambed ... can't find the word we used to use in search engine.

“Thanks, Sarah, it was a vet job in the end, lamb’s head on its chest so ewe couldn’t move it and neither could we. Mother and son doing well 😊.”

A bit chilly to start with but a lot of cloud and some local drizzle in places . Recorded the forecast from radio Lancashire to make some notes of what could be expected to happen. Not long now until the hurricane season starts. It will be above average this year.

Welcome to the more interactive side of Metcheck. Every day Metcheckers up and down the country tap their barometers, rub their thermometers and submit their weather reports in to us.
If you have any interesting weather where you are right now, or simply fancy telling everyone what it's like outside your window then send in a weather report to us using the form below.
To add a weather report is quick and easy. Simply fill in the form above. You don't have to add all the weather variables if you don't want to, but at least just let us know what the weather is like there.
You will then receive an email allowing you to publish your weather report live on Metcheck.
Once your post is on the site you can edit it by clicking on the blue EDIT button to the bottom right of the post. Note, you can only edit and see these buttons on your own posts and nobody elses.

Whoah! How clever is this? The Metcheck Thunderstorm Tracker Satellite allows you to see the developing storms across Western Europe and tells you whether they are growing or decaying. Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
