As with SARAH, there are some very threatening clouds lurking but so far they have not delivered anything. There were still some sunny breaks as I was waiting for the bus threequarters of an hour ago. Still flipping cold here.

The sun may be shining but it is a bitingly cold wind. Seemingly a feel like of 5 degrees- feels colder than that to me. So,we’ve all been wishing for sunshine and assuming that that would mean it was warm! How wrong can you be!

Drizzle has started now. It's been black as night over bill's mothers so I quickly cracked on and mowed front lawn. But no rain. Lucky. Drizzling now but I'm inside. Hope your ewe has eened Heather. Or ... lambed ... can't find the word we used to use in search engine.

A bit chilly to start with but a lot of cloud and some local drizzle in places . Recorded the forecast from radio Lancashire to make some notes of what could be expected to happen. Not long now until the hurricane season starts. It will be above average this year.

Good morning, all, it’s cold and grey with some sharp showers passing over, windchill 0°c. Lambs out in the field are running around (perhaps keeping warm 😊), the next batch will have to stay inside- they’re a bit crammed in and sharing water buckets etc but they won’t be out as scheduled today. MO seem to have gone overboard with the heavy rain forecast for most of the day, MC a bit kinder! Just in for a quick bite of toast, been watching a ewe get ready to lamb since 4 am, she needs to get a move on now!
CW, text from granddaughter who has sent a new report from Cronulla beach for ANZAC Day, she’s working at Cronulla rsl, first meal booked for 6.30 am.
Also want to send very best wishes to DEREK’s daughter and SHOSHANA, everything crossed.

Good morning. Full cloud cover here and feeling quite chilly. Just a light breeze from the south west, could have sworn it veered from the west while outside earlier. Much the same as yesterday but no cold showers yet.

There is complete cloud cover and the breeze is very chilly. The overnight rain has passed through leaving the grass too wet again to cut, at this rate I shall need to borrow a couple of sheep to eat it. Like everyone I could do with some warm weather - the only indication that we have moved from winter to spring is that the trees are in leaf !!

Welcome to the more interactive side of Metcheck. Every day Metcheckers up and down the country tap their barometers, rub their thermometers and submit their weather reports in to us.
If you have any interesting weather where you are right now, or simply fancy telling everyone what it's like outside your window then send in a weather report to us using the form below.
To add a weather report is quick and easy. Simply fill in the form above. You don't have to add all the weather variables if you don't want to, but at least just let us know what the weather is like there.
You will then receive an email allowing you to publish your weather report live on Metcheck.
Once your post is on the site you can edit it by clicking on the blue EDIT button to the bottom right of the post. Note, you can only edit and see these buttons on your own posts and nobody elses.

Whoah! How clever is this? The Metcheck Thunderstorm Tracker Satellite allows you to see the developing storms across Western Europe and tells you whether they are growing or decaying. Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
