“Not looking bad my little dwarf two variety "cocktail" tree is looking pretty good too and I also had very poor crop last year (only it's third year tho) so fingers X'd - I'll thin the fruit quite heavily though aas it's still not really sturdy enough to bear much wieght. Good Luck ππ”

Good afternoon. Itβs not been a great day. Started off bright and reasonably dry. Tempted me to put a wash in the machine and put it out on the line. Put a second wash in the machine and when it was finished brought it out to the line. Just then it started to rain and I had to bring everything indoors. Rain then on and off during the afternoon, never particularly heavy. School stroll was dry but felt a little chilly in the breeze. Have a great evening all.

After a dull start this morning with some early rain, it has been an improving day with the cloud breaking to give increasing amounts of sunshine and a warmer day with a max temp of 13c, but still with a cool breeze from the north.

14:45, 12.2C We've ducked any showers so far but more a matter of chance, it's cloudy and I think we will get something from the denser band of showers on it's way South but I don't really see the continuous rain that MC and to lesser extent Goog have this arvo, MO got tiny bit at 4pm and BBC nothing. Tomorrow: Metcheck - fair/partly cloudy, 10C || MetOff - sunny intervals in morn reclouding in arvo, 11C || BBC - sunny intervals unrtil mid morn then light cloud with some more breaks early eve, 10C || Goog - partly cloudy, 11C

Whoah! How clever is this? The Metcheck Thunderstorm Tracker Satellite allows you to see the developing storms across Western Europe and tells you whether they are growing or decaying. Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
