Cloudy and a few spits of rain occasionally. Hoping for those brighter patches on horizon to come my way. Not so cold (balmy!) and not so windy either. I have problems with my phone so reports may be even fewer till corrected.

Good morning all π!! A bright and windy morning with a few showers earlier. Very heavy rain late yesterday afternoon and into the evening and once more the poor bowlers got drowned. I'm feeling a bit low at the moment as I've got to go back to the hospital for some investigations as I've got a few lumpy bits in my boob. The GP said it felt like glandular tissue but as I had breast cancer in 2007 it's best to be safe. Fingers crossed π€ π€. Have a great day folks π π π€

Still wet and windy but on the bright side we are much better off than my family members in Saskatoon, Canada where they were basking in warm sunshine last weekend and are now waiting for snow ploughs to clear their road to and from work !!

Bore, no da (good) this morning itβs still raining, weβve had light rain/ drizzle since late yesterday morning with a very occasional pauses for the clouds to regather to drop more moisture. Itβs breezy and chilly, certainly not a day to enjoy being outside. I pulled out some old photographs of our youngest daughters birthday parties held in our garden, her birthday is on the 16th April all the pics show us in summer clothing, all the girls in pretty dresses and the boys in T shirts and shorts. Such a contrast to the thick sweater and trousers Iβm currently sporting along with the fleece lined waterproof coat at the ready if I have to go outside.

Welcome to the more interactive side of Metcheck. Every day Metcheckers up and down the country tap their barometers, rub their thermometers and submit their weather reports in to us.
If you have any interesting weather where you are right now, or simply fancy telling everyone what it's like outside your window then send in a weather report to us using the form below.
To add a weather report is quick and easy. Simply fill in the form above. You don't have to add all the weather variables if you don't want to, but at least just let us know what the weather is like there.
You will then receive an email allowing you to publish your weather report live on Metcheck.
Once your post is on the site you can edit it by clicking on the blue EDIT button to the bottom right of the post. Note, you can only edit and see these buttons on your own posts and nobody elses.

Whoah! How clever is this? The Metcheck Thunderstorm Tracker Satellite allows you to see the developing storms across Western Europe and tells you whether they are growing or decaying. Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
