Drizzly start with wall to wall cloud and still that cold wind. It feels like November, not April !! Poor HEATHER and many many farmers like her, trying against all odds to care for newborns being crammed together inside instead of being able to run in warm fields. The implications of this are due to hit us later in the year, that is providing the clowns in the middle east don't kick off and end it all. What a world ? Last night was wet in Liverpool but did not take away from the magic that was Andre Rieu and his brilliant Orchestra. Absolutely excellent evening of music, song and dance.

Good morning, all, it’s dismal lambing weather. The few we put out for their first stretch of legs yesterday (even though the little field is so wet) had to be put inside again once the rain started again in the afternoon. They are fairly crammed in but ok. Winds are gusting to 35 mph. and everywhere waterlogged. It’s the worst lambing season I’ve known (we leave it this late for fairer weather and grass growing). I keep seeing that a dry and warmish spell is imminent but then the rug gets pulled away! BBC have given rain everyday for the next 10 days (their forecast range), although not wall-to-wall, it might as well be. I’ll stop moaning now! Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning. It’s a dull and dreary start to the day. Total cloud cover . No rain as yet but forecast suggests it will arrive later. Current temp is 8 degrees and that gusty north west wins is back. Have a nice day.

Morning all.I think if I had reported/got up earlier I would have seen lots more blue sky, instead of the small streaks showing. Yesterday was pretty wet for most of the day-will today be different? Also it wasn’t warm- will today be different? One can but hope.

Good morning! It was quite bright when I first looked out but the showery rain which was obvious on the radar heading this way has now reached us making it rather dismal outside. Very breezy as well. Apart from her perhaps improvement over the weekend the next fortnight plus looks pretty dismal again. I suppose it will change eventually?

"Morning" a chilly start with a light frost on the grass first thing. ..Temperatures dropped 1.5c overnight but they were at 5c when i checked the thermometer at 7am,yesterday we reached 13.2c..Everything seems to have dried up from the other day so i will try and get some of the front gate painted this morning before the afternoon market. Last week i was wearing a t-shirt now I'm back to jumpers ..The weather can have it's extremes this time of year ,we just go with it i suppose. Have a good day!

Welcome to the more interactive side of Metcheck. Every day Metcheckers up and down the country tap their barometers, rub their thermometers and submit their weather reports in to us.
If you have any interesting weather where you are right now, or simply fancy telling everyone what it's like outside your window then send in a weather report to us using the form below.
To add a weather report is quick and easy. Simply fill in the form above. You don't have to add all the weather variables if you don't want to, but at least just let us know what the weather is like there.
You will then receive an email allowing you to publish your weather report live on Metcheck.
Once your post is on the site you can edit it by clicking on the blue EDIT button to the bottom right of the post. Note, you can only edit and see these buttons on your own posts and nobody elses.

Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
