This afternoon we had quite a heavy shower that lasted just over an hour...and now the sun is out and the wind has dropped away to almost nothing. Earlier this afternoon we had 30mph gusts. Mrs A is appreciating the rain for the garden! |

It has been a muggy ol' day today, following some overnight rain and the temperature only falling to 14°c in these parts.
Pressure is down at 1009 mBar, current temp id 16°c and there is a light Sou'Westerly breeze.
Visibility is down at 2-3 miles but the Air Quality has been OK, with the Index also good and stable at 12-18 for today...
...and on this day, in 1955, three armed men raided The Savoy Turkish Baths on Jermyn Street in London, but the well heeled customers were wearing very little clothing, and the robbers' total haul was only £7...🤭

This morning was fair with around 25% cloud which lasted until around 2pm when it statred to fill in.
The temperature's been stuck at 18C for the past couple of hours, the overnight low at midnight was 9.1C |
