Good evening all, like David down the road we've remained dry after the early morning rain and it certainly felt warmer today. Tomorrow looks like another good day. Have a good evening all.

It's been an on / off day with periods of rain of varying intensity, just a couple of hours around lunchtime when the sun appeared. Quite a wind , having swung around from the SE this morning to now a strong to gale force SW' ly. Patches of drizzle sweeping across the Marsh. Hunkering down to have some tea, then feet up to watch a film 🎥

Good evening. After our very early rain, it has remained dry here. In fact, the sun is out at the moment. I have achieved very little and felt half asleep so forced myself into the garden to remove a few little weedlets. It actually felt quite muggy and nothing much hasdried so the soil is damp. I have ignored the temptation to go and do some watering. Whenever I look into Reports, I am getting my locations flashing up. I hope that’s a temporary blip because it’s a bit irritating! I always dread it when people update things. Our till at work, the system getting in touch with the surgery are two things which have deteriorated as a result of the updates. I’m sure I could think of one or two others as well. Never mind. Have a pleasant evening.

Fantastic colours SHOSHANA. Not sure if this is correct. Either way it looks amazing.
After a morning of warm sunshine between the clouds it's now totally overcast with intermittent drizzle. It's been lagging down all day at Epsom for the Derby. All the punters look like drowned rats. First time I've ever seen a mass exodus of people leaving the track after the second race. Typical June weather ☹️. I'm going to post a pic of my plants so let's see which way round it ends up after the upgrade. 😂

Welcome to the more interactive side of Metcheck. Every day Metcheckers up and down the country tap their barometers, rub their thermometers and submit their weather reports in to us.
If you have any interesting weather where you are right now, or simply fancy telling everyone what it's like outside your window then send in a weather report to us using the form below.
To add a weather report is quick and easy. Simply fill in the form above. You don't have to add all the weather variables if you don't want to, but at least just let us know what the weather is like there.
You will then receive an email allowing you to publish your weather report live on Metcheck.
Once your post is on the site you can edit it by clicking on the blue EDIT button to the bottom right of the post. Note, you can only edit and see these buttons on your own posts and nobody elses.

Whoah! How clever is this? The Metcheck Thunderstorm Tracker Satellite allows you to see the developing storms across Western Europe and tells you whether they are growing or decaying. Every 15 minutes we take a snapshot of the cloud cover then measure the temperature and height of the clouds and show you whether the area of clouds are developing into thunderstorms and what direction they are moving in.

You probably hear a lot about the Jet Stream in the news. It's either too far North or too far South. The jet stream is identified as winds at 300mb (during Winter) and 200mb (during Summer). It is these winds which are responsible for driving and developing weather systems across the Atlantic.
